As a high school student, Christopher traveled to Haiti twice to participate in medical relief efforts. He looks forward to returning as a paramedic intern, to contribute whatever assistance he can give to improve Haiti’s healthcare system and give direct aid to individuals who arrive at the clinic and hospital. In addition to providing healthcare to those who need it, Christopher appreciates how experiences like the METI Project provide insight into how astonishingly different and dynamic the world and its people can be. Christopher works for Wood’s Ambulance in Gardner, MA and is a volunteer firefighter in Bristol, RI, where he is also a student pursuing a B.S. degree at Roger Williams College.
