Sue McMahon grew up in Pittsfield, MA and graduated from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY with a BSN. For more than 34 years, Sue has worked at the Cambridge Hospital; most of her career has been in the emergency department. Sue appreciates the community atmosphere and diverse population at Cambridge Hospital, and especially values the hospital’s mission to take care of those in need. She has always wanted to participate in a medical mission trip. The METI Project’s trip to Haiti is the perfect opportunity because she has helped care for so many patients from Haiti. Sue looks forward to experiencing the native Haitian culture and bringing back an increased understanding of the Haitian patients’ backgrounds. Sue is married and has three children, two of whom are in college.
